Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of the Portal and the hosting and related Services provided by VMGDMA LLC d/b/a Voodoo Media Group. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service and the Hosting Services Agreement. We may update it as our Services and the threat landscape change.
1. Prohibited content
You may not use the Services to store, host, or transmit:
- Content that is illegal or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which we report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement and which results in immediate termination;
- Malware, viruses, ransomware, or code designed to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to systems;
- Phishing pages, fraudulent schemes, or material that impersonates others to deceive;
- [ADULT CONTENT POSITION — permitted if lawful, restricted, or prohibited?]
2. Prohibited conduct
- Sending unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam) or violating anti-spam laws;
- Operating open mail relays, open proxies, or services used to obscure abusive traffic;
- Attempting to access, scan, probe, or disrupt any system, network, or account without authorization;
- Running cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service tooling, or processes that abuse shared resources;
- Consuming server resources (CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, inodes) beyond your plan in a way that degrades service for others.
3. Email and anti-spam
If you send email through or from the Services, you are responsible for complying with the CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable laws, including honoring opt-outs and using accurate headers. We may rate-limit or block outbound mail to protect our IP reputation.
4. Security and software maintenance
[MANAGED vs. UNMANAGED RESPONSIBILITY — state who is responsible for keeping WordPress core, themes, and plugins patched and for server-level updates. Confirm the line between what you maintain and what the client maintains.]
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for the configuration and content of your site to the extent it is within your control.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove or disable content, suspend, or terminate Services, with or without notice depending on the severity and any legal or security risk. We will use reasonable judgment and, where practical, give you an opportunity to cure. No refund is owed for Services terminated for an AUP violation.
6. Reporting abuse
Report suspected violations to [email protected] with enough detail for us to investigate.
